New York Architecture Firm to Design New Central European University Campus in Vienna
CEU has commissioned the U.S. architectural firm Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF) to renovate and develop those Otto Wagner-designed pavilions that will form the future CEU campus. Jewish Museum Vienna Acquires Hedy Lamarr Archive
The Jewish Museum Vienna has successfully acquired the estate of Vienna-born Hollywood actress and inventor Hedy Lamarr. The archive includes photographs, personal letters, documents and particularly valuable hand drawings of torpedo defense, which are considered as precursor to Bluetooth. IAEA: Interim Solution Found in Nuclear Dispute with Iran
Director General Grossi Grossi traveled to Iran over the weekend to search for a way out of the recently escalated nuclear dispute. The counterparts agreed that Iran continues for up to 3 months to implement fully and without limitation its Comprehensive Safeguards Agreement with the IAEA as before. Microsoft Investment in Cloud Data Center Adds €2 Billion in Value for Austria
The data center for Austria, which Microsoft announced last fall as a milestone, is taking concrete shape. Microsoft has acquired operational building land for this purpose. The data center ecosystem is expected to include more than 4,000 local partners and cloud-using customers.
