Chamber of Commerce Massively Criticizes New Parking System in Vienna

As of March 1, 2022, comprehensive and contiguous short-term parking zones will be introduced in every Viennese district, as well as the parking permit ("Parkpickerl") for the respective district residents. The price and parking duration will be standardized for all districts. For private car owners as well as for entrepreneurs this regulation brings considerable additional costs and new problems.

City of Vienna Gives Away 40 Million Euros for Gastronomy Consumption

Congress Tourism in Vienna Continues to Boom

Vienna as a congress destination is booming. Last year, the metropolis achieved record figures for conference participants and added value. Around 631,000 participants (plus three percent) attended 4,685 congresses and company events (plus 15 percent), which resulted in 1,925,000 overnight stays (plus three percent).
