Strabag to Build Rail Tunnel in Toronto
Strabag has had an infrastructure contract in Toronto awarded to its Canadian subsidiary. The scope of the work includes the construction of a 180 m long tunnel under Highway 401 to accommodate two tracks operated by Ontario's public transport agency Metrolinx. The full investment volume amounts to about EUR 77 million.

Publicly listed construction company STRABAG SE reported operating earnings that are nearly unchanged after the first nine months 2017 - despite the fact that a one-off effect in 2016 from the sale of a shareholding related to the acquisition of the minority interest in subsidiary Ed. Strabag to build further Akalla tunnel section for the Stockholm motorway ring
STRABAG Sverige AB, a subsidiary of STRABAG SE, has been awarded an approx. EUR 45 million contract from the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) to build the Akalla Motorway Tunnel. The tunnel is part of the Stockholm Bypass, a motorway ring around the Swedish capital and currently the largest road construction and tunnelling project in the country.

Strabag wins road construction contracts in Poland for a total of € 170 million
The European-based construction group Strabag, through its Polish subsidiaries, has been awarded three road construction contracts from Poland's General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA). The total contract value is split among two lots along the S19 north of Warsaw for EUR 73 million and EUR 43 million as well as one lot along the S61 in southern Poland for EUR 54 million. "Poland is our third most important market. We celebrated our 30th anniversary there this year. We offer the full range of our services in Poland: from road construction to building construction and civil engineering to project development," explains Thomas Birtel, CEO of Strabag SE.

The facility management services agreement between STRABAG Property and Facility Services GmbH Germany (SPFS) and Deutsche Telekom, which had been concluded in parallel with the acquisition of DeTeImmobilien in 2008, will end latest effective 30 June 2019. After long and intense negotiations, Deutsche Telekom has decided to award these services to another provider.

STRABAG PFS prepares to restructure its client portfolio
STRABAG Property and Facility Services (STRABAG PFS) will end the management of real estate, technical facilities, data centres and cellular towers of Deutsche Telekom AG (DTAG) with effect from 30 June 2019 latest. The corresponding service agreement will expire after a period of ten years. STRABAG PFS's offer to continue to manage the DTAG properties efficiently, sustainably and at mutually acceptable conditions until 2028 was not accepted.

Strabag SE celebrates 10 years on the stock market
Strabag SE, the European-based technology group for construction services, is celebrating 10 years on the Vienna Stock Exchange. On 19 October 2007, the company had placed 28,200,001 no-par shares in free float at a price of EUR 47 per share. Although the subsequent price development was influenced by the crises on the international markets that followed, the shares of Strabag SE managed to outperform the Viennese benchmark index ATX in a 10-year comparison. Last Friday, the shares closed at EUR 36.26.

STRABAG SE, the publicly listed European-based technology group for construction services, has been awarded a bridge project in South Africa. The group's subsidiary STRABAG International GmbH has been hired by the South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL) to build a 1,132 m long bridge over the river Mtentu near the town of Flagstaff in the eastern part of the country.

After the first six months of the financial year, publicly listed construction company STRABAG SE is optimistic to be able to reach its goals for the full year 2017. Strabag to renovate historic building from the year 1886 in Hungary
The construction company STRABAG has been chosen to renovate Budapest's historic Eiffel Hall on behalf of the Hungarian State Opera. The building from the year 1886, which measures 220 m in length and 110 m in width, will be used as an art centre for classical music. The contract value is divided into a fixed portion of HUF 8.6 billion (EUR 28 million) and an option portion of HUF 3.1 billion. (approx. EUR 10 million).

Strabag building musical road in Hungary
The European-based construction group STRABAG has been awarded the contract to build and widen the R 67 expressway in Hungary. The EUR 212 million project is being carried out by a consortium in which STRABAG holds 53.2 %. Of the 33 km of expressway between Kaposfüred and Látrány in southwestern Hungary, STRABAG is in charge of the new construction of a 10.3 km section as well as the renovation and widening of a further 10.1 km.

Publicly listed construction company STRABAG SE closed the first quarter of 2017 with a new record order backlog and a reduced operating winter loss, which is typical in the construction industry. The earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) improved by 12 %, the earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) by 2 %.

Strabag SE posts a record year 2016 (with document)
The publicly listed construction group STRABAG SE posted a record year 2016: The target of an EBIT margin of at least 3 % was surpassed, the order backlog was at a record-high of EUR 14.8 billion at the end of the year. Therefore, the Management Board will propose to the Annual General Meeting in June 2017 a dividend of EUR 0.95 per share - the highest dividend since the IPO in 2007.

Strabag modernises Polish railway
The construction group STRABAG, acting as consortium leader, will modernise the 20 km long section of rail between Cracow and Rudzice and expand the suburban railway in Cracow. Strabag subsidiary Züblin to build Congreshotel & Residential Tower Overhoeks in Amsterdam
Amsterdam is getting an addition to its skyline. In the future, two new high-rise towers will grace the northern waterfront of the river IJ in the Overhoeks neighbourhood of the Dutch capital. The Congreshotel & Residential Tower Overhoeks project comprises a 110 m hotel tower with 579 rooms as well as a 101 m residential tower with more than 230 apartments.

The European construction group STRABAG has been hired by AO Don-Stroy Invest - one of Moscow's leading real estate developers for luxury apartments - to build the project "Living on Plushikha". Until completion in mid-2019, STRABAG will build 202 turnkey residential units distributed over eight individual buildings.
