Russian Ambassador in Vienna Delivers Message from Lavrov on Security Guarantees in Europe to Schallenberg

Russian Ambassador to Vienna H.E. Dmitry Lyubinsky has delivered a message about "Moscow's position on mutual security guarantees" from Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to his Austrian counterpart Alexander Schallenberg.

According to "RT", a brand of "TV-Novosti",the document is intended to clarify Moscow's position on mutual security guarantees in Europe.

Russian Ambassador to Vienna Dmitry Lyubinsky said that Russian diplomatic colleagues handed a document from Lavrov to Schallenberg during a personal meeting.

The document is said to set out "Russia's principled position on the need for legally binding mutual security guarantees in Europe."

Lyubinsky stressed that the basic principle of equal and indivisible security is of utmost importance for the entire European security architecture, according to the Russian side.
