The owner and CEO of the Austrian low-cost airline Flyniki is considering a withdrawal from Austria. He is very upset over the tax on airline tickets to be implemented on January 1, 2001.

Niki Lauda voices his anger bluntly over the Government-proposed air ticket tax: "This is anti-social madness, because it affects most those Austrians who earn less and will not be able to afford a holiday flight."
According to media reports, Lauda is considering the relocation of his business. He is said to be attracted in particular by the Slovak capital, Bratislava:…
