The heads of Vienna´s stock exchange, Schaller and Bohl, fear that the introduction of capital and transactional taxes downgrades Austria´s capital market.

The two bosses of Vienna´s Stock Exchange caution about the government´s taxation plans, which contain taxes on speculative gains, stock exchange taxes, tax on assets. The adverse effects are caused by the need of Austrian corporations for more equity, which are relatively undercapitalized in comparison to other European corporations.
