The entire tax package will bring additional revenues for around 1.2 billion euro. There are further saving measures for 1.6 billion euro. Reactions from the economic actors are ambivalent.

The aim of the budget is to reduce, among other things, the deficit to below 3.2%. By 2012 it should be again below the Maastricht limit. What is still open is the contribution of the provinces to the budget consolidation.
