Aiginger claims for reforms in the tax system

The boss of the economic research institute, Karl Aiginger, calls for measures of economization for budget consolidation. The best time to consolidate is now, as in the coming years no increased growth prospects are available. The greatest danger at the moment, Aiginger says, is foolishness and populism in the face of increasing tax revenues.
