As part of a new strategy, AUA (Austrian Airlines), is targeting especially regular services. Overall, the Lufthansa subsidiary, has transported 8.4 million passengers this year.

The airline transported in September 2010 a total of about 1.1 million passengers, 11.2% more than in the same period of the previous year. The occupancy rate of flights rose by 3 percentage points to 81%. The offer measured by available seat kilometers (ASK) increased slightly by 0.2%; the demand measured in revenue passenger kilometers (RPK) rose by 4.2%.
