Medal Award Ceremony in Vienna Strengthens Chinese-Austrian Relations
Several individuals who helped strengthen Chinese-Austrian relations were honored with Rosthorn Medals 2022 recently at Palais Epstein. Werner Fasslabend, Margareta Griessler-Hermann, LI Xiaosi, the ambassador of the People's Republic of China, and Gottfried Sodeck, an entrepreneur, received them this year.

Austrian Institute for International Affairs: Challenging but Positive Corona Year 2020
The Austrian Institute for International Affairs (OIIP - Österreichisches Institut für Internationale Politik) reports in its annual report "Annual 2020" on the past "challenging" Corona year as a "proud" year in which 35 scientific publications were published, numerous new research projects and discussion events were organized, and 35 conference participations and 91 media appearances were documented. The Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) honours a great member and a historical personality. The event room in the historic Springer Schlössl, the seat of the political academy of the ÖVP, now bears the name of the former foreign minister - it is now called Alois Mock Aula.
