Vienna's UNODC and China Sign Agreement on Combating Corruption

The United Nations and China, represented by the Chairmen of the National Supervisory Commission of the Peoples Republic of China, Yang Xiaodu - currently visiting Vienna - signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in combating corruption.

The new agreement will allow the UNODC United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and China to strengthen cooperation on the implementation of the UNCAC UN Convention against Corruption in key areas such as prevention, criminal justice responses to corruption offences, law enforcement cooperation and stolen asset recovery.
