Slovenia tries to restructure its problem banks. Today, the government presented a proposal to establish a bad bank. This special purpose vehicle should buy risky assets from Slovenian banks. The agency needs guarantees, however. More than € 4.0bn will not be necessary, Finance Minister Janez Sustersic said. This amount would be the upper limit of non-performing loans, he explained.…
