Registrations of new motor vehicles in July 2011: -2.3%; passenger cars: +1.1%, lorries: +5.0%.

According to Statistics Austria, a total of 39,646 new motor vehicles was registered in July 2011, 2.3% less than in July 2010 and 5.8% less than in June 2011. Registrations of new passenger cars (29,307 units) increased by 1.1%; the share of new passenger cars related to the entire number of registrations was 73.9%.
