January to June 2011: Increase of new motor vehicle registrations by 9.9 % to 245,396 vehicles; new passenger car registrations up 10.6%.

From January to June 2011, a total of 245,396 new motor vehicles were registered, which represented an increase of 9.9% compared to 2010. With almost a quarter of a million registrations, the previous record of 1996' first half (239,560) was exceeded by almost 6,000 units.
