In spite of the recent cut in the key rate to an all-time low of four percent the financial institutes will not loosen risk policies.

Earlier this month the National Bank of Romania (NBR) has cut the main rate again by 25 basis points to 4.0 percent. The market has already expected this measure, which is the fourth in a row since the beginning of July. As anticipated, NBR cut the basis rate by 125 basis points.
