The CEO of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB), Christian Kern, reacts angrily to accusations made by politicians.

As part of the budget drawn up a few months ago, the ÖBB are required to save. Originally, resources amounting about € 14.3bn were planned for infrastructure investment by the ÖBB, but presently they have been reduced by about € 1.5bn. Therefore, some projects have been cut, downsized or postponed.
