Increase in One-Day Car Registrations

One-day registrations of passenger cars January to September 2011: +11.6%; 6.0% of new passenger cars were deregistered within one day.

According to Statistics Austria, a total of 16,466 passenger cars were registered and deregistered within 24 hours from January to September 2011; compared to the same period 2010 (14,750 registrations), this represents an increase of 11.6%. The share of one-day registrations related to all new car registrations accounted for 6.0%.
