Since 2004, the size of black labor is declining in Austria. Nine years ago, the share of GDP came at 11%: In 2012, black labor was 7.5% of GDP.

Not only the share of GDP goes down, but also the size in absolute terms. In 2004, the value added of black labor totaled € 23bn. Last year, the figure reached € 19.5bn.
