The global investments for further branches amount to 3.5 million euro. According to Wein & Co boss Heinz Kammerer, this is the largest expansion wave since the founding in 1993. Kammerer can imagine up to ten additional locations.

The expansion will also be reflected in sales and returns: Kammerer expects revenues for 50 million euro for the fiscal year 2010/2011 and a profit of around 3 million euro, but "at least" 2.5 million euro.

For the financial year 2009/2010, which ended in September, the company had sales for 42 million euro and a profit of 2.2 million euro.

Wein & Co sales champions are the retail outlets. The gastronomic area only contributes about 10% of the revenues and is a "traffic generator" and "meeting point". The rest is realized over the Internet. By the end of the year, Wine & Co will be represented throughout Austria at 18 locations, 8 of them with a gastronomic area.

As a premium supplier, Wein & Co stocks wines of over 1,000 euro per bottle. The average selling price is 15 euro.  For customers who have to take care of their money, there is the private label "Vintage" -18 different varieties between 4 and 10 euro are available- or they go to the supermarket, because there the average selling price is 3 euro.
