Wine Exports: Prices Rose by 14%
Local winemakers were able to achieve an average price of 1.91 € per liter for exported wine. However, the total volume of wine exported declined.

Austrian vintners sold less but more expensive wine abroad in the first half of 2010. Although the export value rose during the first six months by 10%, the volume went down by 3%, as is to be concluded from the figures presented by Statistik Austria.
