Telekom Austria is said to have aspirations with regard to both acquisitions and consolidation measures. Croatian media report about massive investment plans of the Croatian Telekom Austria subsidiary Vipnet, which is allegedly showing an interest in the Croatian broadband provider Metronet. Negotiations are said to be already at an "advanced stage".
