In his talks with the President of the Senate, Elisabetta Alberti Casellati, and the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Roberto Fico, the President of the National Council underlined the importance of the principle of subsidiarity in the European Union and also advocated a consistent continuation of the EU enlargement process in the direction of the Western Balkans.
