The crisis measures approved by Brussels are partially starting to make an impact. Since July 1, the higher tax rate of 22 percent is binding. However, the country does much more than just raise taxes.

In order to fight the shadow economy the Finance Ministry counts on the fiscal responsibility of the enterprises where payment is done mainly through cash. The Finance Ministry has requested citizens to take pictures of the bills and send it to a free hotline.
