The NBS (National Bank of Serbia) decided to keep the policy rate unchanged as there is no threat of inflation.

At its meeting yesterday, the NBS Executive Board decided to keep the key policy rate unchanged at 9.5%. The Executive Board stated that y-o-y inflation rate moves around the lower bound of the target tolerance band and that inflationary pressures have significantly abated, while inflation expectations are stable.
