Serbia: Economic Activity Increases Speed

Since the beginning of 2014 economic activity has started to accelerate.

According to Vladimir Vuckovic, editor of MAT (Makroekonomske analize i trendovi) magazine, economic activity in Serbia has started to speed up in January compared to the same period one year ago.

Year-on-year growth in the processing industry came at 7.3 percent while turnover remained stable above 2.9 percent and real retail trade turnover came above 0.6 percent, according to…
