At the elections in March, the Serbian social democrats fell behind the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS). Moreover, the nationalist party SNS has achieved the majority of the votes. SNS has gained 157 out of 250 seats in the Serbian parliament. The social democrats only came at 44 seats.
