Red Bull Intends to Enter China

The Austrian energy drink producer has concluded the technical test phase. The market entry into China is now within splitting distance.

The ambitious aims of Red Bell to enter China take form. The progress is slowly, but the technical phase is concluded: “We could finish the technical phase of the admission. The ingredients and the effect of Red Bull have been tested scientifically. Now, this process has been concluded successfully. Now we only wait for the administrative execution of our application for the market admission. This should be done within the next weeks.”

Red Bull mentions that it cannot be excluded that the final phase could lead to several delays. This had already happened in the past, which was due to the complexity of the admission process. Originally, Red Bull wanted to enter the Chinese market in the first quarter of 2011.

Three weeks ago, Red Bull announced to start the mobile phone business in Australia and Poland. In Germany, several talks with network operators are already held.
