Prices of industrial goods gained 3.2% in August 2011. Against July, the price index fell by 0.2%.

As reported by Statistics Austria, the Industrial Producer Price Index, IPPI 2010, reached 104.1 points in August 2011, representing a price increase of 3.2% compared to August 2010. In July 2011 and June 2011 the annual rate of change had been 3.6% and 3.9%, respectively. Thus a renewed reduction in the rise of prices was registered in August 2011.
