According to the economic research institute Synthesis, Austria´s economic growth is higher than WIFO and IHS say. The employment situation would be too good.

The number of employees grew by 46,000 in the last twelve months, Wolfgang Alteneder, director of Synthesis says in an interview with the Austria news magazine “Standard”. “Nevertheless, IHS and WIFO only anticipate a growth rate of 0.6% this year.“ he argues.
