AMS: Temporary Employment Will Continue to Rise

The Chairman of the Board of the AMS (Public Employment Service), Johannes Kopf, believes that the international trend of increasing temporary employment will also take root in Austria.

For the next five to ten years, the Chairman of the Board of AMS foresees further rises in the demand for temporary workers. Currently, the proportion of temporary workers to salaried workers is 2%, but it will rise to 4%, according to Kopf. Austria will follow in this the international trend of the temporary workers boom.
