WIFO and IHS Foresee Economic Weakness

The two major Austrian Economic Research Institutes, WIFO and IHS, expect an economic slowdown in 2011.

The chairmen of the board of WIFO and IHS, Karl Aiginger and Bernhard Felderer do not foresee an easy year for the economy and warn about carelessness. 2011 will not go ahead at the same pace as in the last months. There are even significant grounds for an economic slowdown, but without relapsing into recession.
