Slovenia: Three Arrestments at NLB

According to Slovenian authorities, three persons in the bank’s environment were arrested because of alleged malpractice.

Moreover, eleven houses were searched both in Ljubljana and in Maribor because of a complaint filed by the top of state-owned Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB). In case of an abuse of authority, the persons are threatened by eight years in jail. According to the bank’s latest loan portfolio report, around 100 bad loans are responsible for 70 percent of losses.
