Slovenia: Household Income Shrinks

For the first time since its independence, Slovenia´s households record a decrease in disposable income.

Household disposable income declined for the first time last year, by 1.7%, as a result of rising unemployment and a decline in the wage bill and other earnings. Household financial assets declined by 0.7%, but household financial liabilities declined even more, by 3%.
