In 2012, the Slovenian economy is expected to shrink by 1.8%. Next year, Slovenia will not have reached the growth zone.

According to the Slovenian National Bank, the Slovenian GDP will decrease substantially this year. The forecasts have worsened in the last months. In its latest forecast, the Slovenian Central Bank expected a decrease of 1.2% this year and a growth rate of 0.6% next year.
