After years of debate, there seem to be a final agreement in the fight for the insolvent Ljubljanska Banka. The settlement should pave the way for Croatia’s becoming an EU member state.

Both, Slovenia and Croatia are finally putting aside the 20 year long dispute. The closure of the issue is has come right in time for Croatia since this would grant the country to join the EU as planned, on July 1 2013.
