After German officials considered postponing Croatia´s EU accession, Croats become more critical to the European Union.

By July 2013, Croatia joins the union. The President of the German Lower House (Bundestag) Norbert Lambert argued that the EU has not made the best experience with the accession of Bulgaria and Romania. “In view of this, I do not think that Croatia is ready to enter the EU.”
By contrast, Croatian officials are still optimistic that their country will enter the EU as planned.…
