Adjusted for inflation, revenue of the Austrian retail companies declined by 4.6% compared to the previous year.

The Austrian retail sector (including gas stations) recorded a substantial drop in revenue in July 2011. Sales were down by 4.6% in real terms (adjust for inflation) against July of the previous year. The development was also negative in nominal terms, with a decline of 0.8%.
