Poland Reconsiders Joining Eurozone

The current political crisis in Ukraine is also causing turmoil at the Polish financial markets letting the national currency drop significantly against the Euro.

Because of the ongoing political crisis in Ukraine and the resulting instabilities at the financial markets in Poland, the question about whether or not to join the Eurozone reappears. Marek Belka, governor of the Central Bank of Poland, noted that it was worth considering a membership in the European single currency union.
