Poland: Economic Growth in 2013 above Expectations

GDP growth in Poland came at 1.6 percent year-on-year in 2013 which is 0.1 percent above expectations.

According to preliminary estimates by the Central Statistical Office (GUS), GDP growth in Poland came at 1.6 percent which exceeds previous forecasts that anticipated growth of 1.5 percent. However, investments declined 0.4 percent and domestic demand was down by 0.2 percent, GUS announced on Thursday.
