Labor Force and Household Projections for Austria 2010-2050

The Austrian labor force is predicted to reach a maximum of 4.2 million in 2018. The number of households in 2050 will be up 19.8% over 2009.

The regional forecasts produced by Statistics Austria provide a projection of the labor force and the number of private households for a total of 124 projected regions, and consequently for Austria’s 99 political districts, 35 NUTS-3 regions and nine federal states.
