Austrian Consumer Price Inflation increased to 3.1% in March 2011 - the main drivers are energy and food prices.

The annual inflation rate of the Index of Consumer Prices (CPI 2010) measured by Statistics Austria was 3.1% in March 2011 (February 3.0%), the all item index was 102.9. The annual inflation rate in terms of the Harmonized Consumer Price Index (HICP 2005) was 3.3% (all item index: 113.11, February 111.75, 3.1%).
