As reported by Statistics Austria, the Industrial Producer Price Index, IPPI 2005, reached 111.5 points in December 2010, representing a price increase of 4.9% compared to December 2009. This was the highest rate of increase since February 2005, when it was 5.3%. In November 2010 and October 2010 the annual rate of inflation had been 4.2% and 4.1%.
