The Austrian construction cost index with new base year 2010 increases by 3.7% in January 2011.

The construction cost index for construction of residential buildings on the new base year 2010 reached 101.8 index points for January 2011, according to calculations by Statistics Austria. This represents an increase of 0.9% compared to the previous month December 2010 and a rise of 3.7% over January 2010.
