Austrian Inflation Speeds Up

The Austrian consumer price inflation increased to 2.5% in January 2011. This development has been caused by rising energy prices.

The annual inflation rate of the harmonized index of consumer prices measured by Statistics Austria was 2.5%, the all item index was 110.84 in January 2011.
