Inflation Increased up to 2.2% in Austria

The Consumer Price Inflation (HICP) increased up to 2.2 % in December 2010. This was mainly due to energy prices.

The annual inflation rate measured by Statistics Austria in terms of the harmonized index of consumer prices (HICP) was 2.2%, the all item index (HICP 2005) harmonised on the European level was 110.93 in December 2010.
