In its income report, the Audit Court presents the evolution of the income of the Austrians. Increasing differences can be identified.

Income differences are growing noticeably in Austria, according to the results from the Court's report for the years 2008 and 2009. While officials with a € 48,000 annual income achieve an average of three times the income of a worker, they lose in real income too.
