Construction cost continued to increase in July 2011: +2.1% against 2010, +0.1% compared to June 2011.

The construction cost index for construction of residential buildings reached 102.4 index points for July 2011, according to calculations by Statistics Austria. This represents an increase of 2.1% over July 2010. In comparison to June 2011 the index increased only slightly by 0.1%.
