Production index in May 2011: +6.7% compared to May 2010, +0.3% against April 2011.

According to calculations by Statistics Austria, the working-day-adjusted production index for industries and construction increased by 6.7 % in May 2011 against May of the previous year. In March and April the corresponding rates were 9.5% and 9.7%, respectively. Compared to April 2011 the index increased by 0.3% (seasonally adjusted).
