Growing Output in the Electronics Industry

The production level of 2008 will be reached again this year. Growth is mainly driven by increasing exports and a positive development in the automotive industry.

In 2010, production output of the Austrian electronics industry increased by 4.3% compared to 2009 and amounted to € 11.5bn. The number of people employed in the sector stood at 58,700 which corresponds to a plus of 3.3%.
