Further Increase in Construction Cost in May

Construction cost index in May 2011: +0.5% compared to the previous month, +1.5% year-on-year.

The construction cost index for construction of residential buildings reached 102.3 index points for May 2011, according to calculations by Statistics Austria. This represents an increase of 0.5% compared to the previous month April 2011 and of 1.5% over May 2010.
